Picture Yourself in Their Boots. Chronicle your exploration of TXDPS state of the art law enforcement equipment at “selfie stations”.  Wear the gear of a DPS trooper from the past at the vintage trooper “selfie station.” Meet police dogs, the Mounted Patrol, plus more! DPS Headquarters (5805 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin, TX 78752) from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 23, 2018.

Join us at the DPS Museum Day on on September 17, 2017 at DPS Headquarter, 5805 North Lamar Blvd in Austin to see our exhibits. This year we are featuring the DPS Crimes Against Children Center and our theme is "Safety & Security: A Child's Right". Come and learn how to recognize and avoid dangers. See our law enforcement vehicles, horse mounted patrol, motorcycles, dogs, SWAT, helicopter and much more! The exhibit is from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Drop By!
